ABA and Ministry of Interior Partner to Enable Seamless Online Payments

ABA Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Department of Administration (GDA) under the Ministry of Interior to integrate its PayWay online payment gateway into the official platform for the registration of associations and NGOs.

Through this integration, users can make secure online payments for registration services directly on the Ministry’s website, eliminating the need for in-person visits. The solution is designed to streamline the registration process, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall user experience.

The MoU signing ceremony took place on April 27, 2026, at the Ministry of Interior and was presided over by H.E. Suos Prathna, Director General of the General Department of Administration, and Plong Malypoeur, Chief Digital Product Officer of ABA Bank, together with representatives from both institutions.

“At ABA, we are committed to supporting Cambodia’s digital transformation journey. Integrating PayWay into the Ministry’s platform allows us to deliver secure and convenient payment solutions, while contributing to a more efficient and connected public service ecosystem,” said Plong Malypoeur.

This collaboration aligns with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s broader digital transformation agenda, encouraging the adoption of secure digital services and reducing reliance on manual processes.

ABA Bank continues to expand its digital ecosystem through partnerships with both public and private sector institutions, reinforcing its role as a leading provider of innovative and secure financial solutions in Cambodia.
