Following last year’s success, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia will once more organise Phsaar Reatrei Indonesia / Pasar Malam Indonesia at Chaktomuk Walk Street in Phnom Penh on April 25–26, 2026.

Phsaar Reatrei Indonesia is one of the Embassy’s flagship integrative economic and cultural promotions. Organised at Chaktomuk Walk Street, which remains one of the most prominent cultural and tourism hubs in Phnom Penh, Phsaar Reatrei Indonesia will become a venue for people from diverse backgrounds to enjoy festive and culturally rich weekend nights together.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste authentic Indonesian dishes, explore batik clothing, and shop for various Indonesian consumer products, while immersed in vibrant traditional music and dance performances.

As part of this year's Phsaar Reatrei Indonesia, two Indonesian restaurants in Cambodia will also be awarded Duta Rasa Nusantara certificates. This is to show appreciation for their work in promoting Indonesia's rich culinary history by serving authentic Indonesian food.

Phsaar Reatrei Indonesia will also feature Indonesian ‘dangdut’ singer Fire Amanda; DJ Osvaldo Nugroho; Indonesian diaspora jazz singer, Intan Andriana; and local band, Crazy Mix Band.

The Indonesian Embassy in Phnom Penh hopes Phsaar Reatrei Indonesia will symbolise the strong bonds of cooperation between Indonesia and Cambodia. In addition, the organisation of this event intends to demonstrate the collaborative resilience of the people from the two countries in facing current global challenges.

In the first quarter of 2026, Indonesia recorded a 6.6 per cent year-on-year increase in exports to Cambodia valued at USD 274.9 million, making Indonesia Cambodia’s 9th largest trading partner. Indonesia’s most exported products to Cambodia are coal, cigarettes, pasta/instant noodles, motorcycles, and medicaments.

In regard to tourism, more than 50,000 Indonesian tourists visited Cambodia in the last year. Conversely, almost 11,000 Cambodian tourists visited Indonesia during the same period.
