PhilCham Cambodia Introduces New Board of Directors At The 'Business And Beyond' Event
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Business Association in Cambodia (PhilCham) celebrated a significant milestone on February 6, 2025, with the official announcement of its new Board of Directors for 2025 at the highly anticipated dinner reception titled ‘Business and Beyond: Meet the New Board Members’, held at The Cut Steakhouse.
The event marks a promising new chapter for PhilCham, bringing together members of the Philippine business community in Cambodia for an evening of networking and celebration. Attendees were introduced to the new officers, directors, and advisory leaders who will guide PhilCham’s mission of fostering Filipino entrepreneurship and collaboration in the year ahead.

Current President, Tim Montero, acknowledged the foundational work laid by Benilda, extending his appreciation to chamber members, family, and friends for their collective efforts. Tim shared his vision for the upcoming year, built on four key pillars: Kinaadman (knowledge sharing), Mabuhay Night (business networking), Maharlika Night (cultural exchange), and Bayanihan (collaborative initiatives).
Tim outlined a vibrant calendar of events aimed at empowering Filipino businesses, encouraging active participation from all members to maximise the community’s potential. His passionate call to action emphasised the importance of collaboration to achieve shared goals in 2025.
The evening was further enriched by remarks from Consul Laarni Zorayda Gandarosa (Consul Lala), who heralded the robust economic ties between the Philippines and Cambodia. She highlighted key economic indicators, ongoing projects, and initiatives aimed at increasing trade and investment, reiterating the Embassy’s commitment to supporting and protecting the interests of Filipinos in Cambodia.
