Daun Penh Agrico Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Vietnamese agricultural company, THACO AGRI, successfully held its official bond listing ceremony at the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) on January 21, 2026. 

The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Dr. Hean Sahib, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and Chairman of the CSX, along with H.E. Sou Socheat, Director General of Securities Exchange and Regulator of Cambodia (SERC); H.E. Hong Sok Hour, CEO of the CSX; and Phan Ba Cuong, Deputy General Director of THACO AGRI.

In his opening remarks, H.E. Hean Sahib congratulated Daun Penh Agrico Co., Ltd. on successfully listing its bond on the CSX, marking the first bond listing of 2026. He encouraged the company to maintain high production standards and expand its market reach in order to enhance the reputation of Cambodian agricultural products on the international stage. He also assured that the Cambodian capital market will continue to provide ongoing support through the provision of capital resources.

H.E. Sou Socheat confirmed that Daun Penh Agrico's listing marks the first agricultural company to issue a bond on the CSX. He noted that the success of this bond listing clearly demonstrates that the securities market can complement bank financing by providing long-term and sustainable capital sources, which is suitable for companies to use to expand and strengthen business potential. 

Phan Ba Cuong, Deputy General Director of THACO AGRI, shared that the capital Daun Penh Agrico raised from the CSX is a key component in the company’s strategy to strengthen its operations and further expand sustainable and effective development. He added that the company strives to contribute to social welfare by creating numerous local job opportunities, and significantly supporting the development of agricultural production in Cambodia.

According to H.E. Hong Sok Hour, Daun Penh Agrico's bond issuance raised USD 49 million from qualified investors. The bond carries a coupon rate of 5.25 per cent, and has an eight-year tenor guaranteed by GuaranCo. 

The CSX CEO also shared that the securities market showed good growth and resilience in 2025, despite a challenging domestic and global situation. As of January 2026, a total of 27 companies have listed on the CSX, including 12 equity listings and 15 bond listings. Collectively, these companies have raised approximately USD 703 million. 

Established in 2015, Daun Penh Agrico Co., Ltd. focuses on fruit crop plantations and agricultural processing facilities. The company is headquartered in Lumphat District of Ratanakiri Province.
