Cambodia Records 42 Investment Projects in February Worth $166 Million
In February 2026, Cambodia registered a total of 42 investment projects through the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and provincial-municipal investment sub-committees.
These projects are worth a total investment capital of approximately USD 166 million and are expected to create roughly 24,000 jobs.
According to a press release issued by the CDC on March 11, 2026, 18 of the 42 projects were registered under the CDC (9 projects outside Special Economic Zones and 9 projects within them), while 24 were registered through provincial-municipal investment sub-committees.
Investment projects registered in February 2026 include factories for:
- Garments, footwear, and bags;
- Cardboard boxes and paper products;
- Household furniture;
- Camping equipment;
- Tin processing;
- Plywood and wood veneers;
- Metal processing and plastic products;
- Chemical products and Christmas trees;
- Faucet heads;
- Solar panel components and electrical equipment;
- And more.
China remained the largest source of foreign direct investment (FDI), followed by Samoa, the United States and Singapore.
