APD Bank Restores Limited Services Following Five-Day System Maintenance
APD Bank has announced the gradual restoration of its banking services following five days of system maintenance and a total suspension of its core banking system.
Following the five-day service outage, which began at 10:00 AM on March 11 and lasted until 9:00 AM of March 16, APD Bank announced a transitional phase of limited service availability scheduled to run until 11:59 PM on March 20.
During this period, customers can access essential digital features, such as account inquiries, transfers between own accounts, and fixed deposit placements. Importantly, while Bakong KHQR outgoing transfers have been restored, the bank's customers will be limited to a temporary aggregated daily limit of only USD 300 (or equivalent in KHR).
Furthermore, physical branches will be open for most standard operations, but cash withdrawals, transfers to other APD accounts, and premature fixed deposit closures remain restricted for the time being.
Services such as VTM services, Visa, UPI, CSS Cards, and other APD Mobile and iBanking functions, remain unavailable.
APD Bank has extended its sincere apologies for the ongoing disruption and thanked its clientele for continued patience as the bank's technical team works toward restoring full operational capacity.
