- The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) Index was down 1.52 points or 0.35 per cent to 422.37
- Investors are looking for relief after this six day skid, which has seen the index drop 2.8% over this period.
- Volume was low with only 53,016 shared trading hands
- ACLEDA Bank Plc. (ABC) dominated market action, it was 77 per cent of trading volume today and 90 per cent of trading value.
- On the upside Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) was up 40 riel per share, trading at 12,340 riel.
- on the downside Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP) was down 120 riel trading at 12,500 riel per share
Is ACLEDA Bank Plc. (ABC) Cheap?
- The Stock is trading at 64 per cent of book value,
- Book Value is 12,977 riel per share,
- Stoke Price is 8,300 riel per share
- The P.E. Ratio is 5.84 despite strong revenue growth, although 2023 earnings were off about 20 per cent
- Comparatively JP Morgan, the US largest bank is trading at 11.44 P.E., which is the double of ACLEDA Bank.
- USD to KHR Riel was flat at 4061
- Gold continues to slide, its down USD 33 at USD 2,313 per ounce
- Oil was flat, as geopolitical tensions have eased
- DOW Futures pointing higher
- US opened in New York look like 55 points higher
