EuroCham Cambodia is hosting a Cambodian agri-food processing event in January 2025 in Phnom Penh to discuss the challenges (and respective opportunities) in the sector.

The organisers said, “The agricultural sector is a cornerstone of the national economy and has a major influence on poverty reduction for the Kingdom's many people residing in rural areas. With the emergence of modern technology increasing Cambodia's agro-processing capacity, there is a great potential to enhance agriculture and socio-economic development.”

Key stakeholders in the sector will be present to identify recommendations and a roadmap for enhancing Cambodia's agri-food processing capacity and competitiveness.
