The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) announced on February 17, 2026, that the Non-Bank Financial Services Authority (FSA) had officially approved the implementation of Prakas No. 017, dated February 6, 2026.

This Prakas outlines the disciplinary sanctions applicable to reporting entities within the securities sector that fail to comply with the provisions of the Law on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT).

The key objectives of the Prakas are to define specific disciplinary actions for non-compliance by reporting entities, and to ensure and enhance the efficient implementation of AML/CFT laws within the Cambodian financial landscape.
