A representative from the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce recently participated in the Asian Financial Forum 2026 in Hong Kong to promote cooperation and integration in the fields of finance, economics, and international trade.

According to an announcement made by the Ministry of Commerce on January 26, H.E. Lim Lork Piseth, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, attended Asian Financial Forum 2026, which was presided over by H.E. John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

The forum saw the participation of senior government officials, businessmen, experts, and representatives of major international financial institutions from around the world, with approximately 4,000 attendees from 60 countries.

Held from January 26–27, the forum aimed to promote cooperation and integration in the fields of finance, economics, and international trade. Panel discussions focused on the global economy, international trade, the financial sector, and recent developments in international geopolitics.

To further strengthen relations and promote mutual trade cooperation between Cambodia and Hong Kong, H.E. Lim Lork Piseth also held a working lunch with key Hong Kong officials.
